The cloud is one of the fastest growing market right now. The adoption of cloud technology is still at an early stage, but strong brands like Adobe with his Creative Cloud moved their services to cloud.
With its ambitious cloud gaming streaming service – PlayStation Now – Sony is intending to take advantage of the cloud. Sony used E3 to confirm PS Now is just around the corner and will go into open beta in North America on July 31st.
On June 9 Sony has pushed out a press release with rental prices information. The subscription for more than 100 titles available from first and third-party studios will range from $2.99 to $19.99.
The service will let you stream not only classic PlayStation games to a PS3, PS4 or Vita, but also titles like ‘God of War: Ascension’ and ‘Dead Space 3′.
The PlayStation Now cloud gaming service can make the difference in the “war” with Xbox One. Sony already has a significant sales lead over the Xbox One with PS4.
